With more experimentation I am finding the stuff that is brought over in View Reps.InventorCAM 2014 has more than 100 new enhancements across all its modules: iMachining 2D & 3D, 2.5D Milling, HSS, HSR/HSM, Sim 5X, Turning, Advanced mill-turn for multi-turret and multi-spindle machines, as well as a new module - Solid Probe Well, I figured out how to create a "Current" (Custom) view, but now, is there a way to create views from my list of View Reps? They show up in the Drawing View dialog box, but I sure can't figure out how to place these views.Įdit: OK, now I am making progress - I found the view cube. I created to locked View Reps in assembly - one named Custom and the other named 2nd Try. I even went into the Help and couldn't find an explaination (probably first time in 10 years for own need, other than to verify what others had questions about). ![]() This was trivially easy in previous releases. I have a named View Rep in the assembly, it shows in the drawing list, but doesn't create the view. I feel like a 1st day newbe - I can't create a custom view in drawing environment. You can find this in Inventor 2016 below the view cube.Ĭan you create a Screencast demonstration?
